Pasadena is a local community about 15 minutes to the north of El Nido. Turn off the highway and head through the town until you reach a dirt road that you feel you shouldnt be driving down! This means youre going exactly the right way! Youre on a back road that cuts between Pasadena and the Nacpan Road. At a certain point the road will open out into fields and rice terraces, this is where it gets good! Pick your spot, try to stay off the road..
Where you'll Sleep
With no official site here, just an access back road, youre free to pitch your camp wherever you find a spot that doesnt block the road! Its a quiet road with most inhabitents opting to use the highway to move around, so you wont be bothered by traffic. Although make sure you smile and wave to any passing motorcyclists that you do happen to cross! Offering a Red Horse also never goes down badly..
Difficulty of Access
Wont be easy ensuring youre on the right road... trial and arror can be the key here, if youve hit a gate or private land, youve taken the wrong route! All part of exploration! You'll find yourself passing between local houses and no doubt question wether you should be there at all, but persevere! Its not a long road, can d the whole dirt road in around 20 mins of offroading before you pop out at the nacpan bridge.
